Pokelabo has launched a trailer for the upcoming collaboration between their mobile RPG SINoALICE and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion coming soon to the west.
Most of the event details are currently only being teased, with the trailer not revealing much in terms of story or even a release date. However, the publisher shares that players will “get to enjoy Code Geass characters in all-new outfits during the event.” Further, the event will feature an original collaboration story for fans. The event was previously released in Japan.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion tells the story of Lelouch, a boy from the Holy Britannia Empire who journeys to Japan, a vassal state of the empire, and there discovers a special ability, called a Geass, that allows him to control others. The anime tells his story as he begins to involve himself in the fight against the empire. The anime first aired in 2006 and continues to have a popular fanbase.
SINoALICE has surpassed 2 million pre-registrations for its global launch. The game is a retelling of classic fairy tales set in a fantasy world created by none other than Yoko Taro, who served as creative director on the project. The game follows several characters based on fairy tales as they must work together to fight enemies and solve puzzles to save the storytellers that created their world.
