Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption Gets Console Release Date and New Trailer

Another Indie has announced that the Dark Star Game Studios developed boss battler action title Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on October 18.

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption follows Adam, a soldier who has embarked on a journey to reconcile his dark past. The title’s themes are based on the seven deadly sins, which Adam will have to face to advance his quest for atonement.

After each battle, Adam must sacrifice a part of himself as a permanent debuff. This ends up making each battle get increasingly more difficult as the game’s story progresses as Adam’s armor breaks down over his journey. Additionally, players will be able to unlock a New Game+ mode to equip new gear.

Sinner provides the intense action players crave in hardcore games through intimate battles that are accessible in any order,” says Iain Garner, director of developer relations, Another Indie. “By giving players the freedom to choose their path through its devilish challenges, Sinner offers player agency without sacrificing a compelling story.”

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption will have language support for English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Russian.

The game will also be a Discord launch title when it releases on PC this winter, a Steam release will follow.

Author’s take: Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption has always been of intereste to me, but there’s a lot to be hestitant about. Much of this game will rely on how good Adam controls, but this game sure looks awesome.
