Headup announced that they will publish the Cracked Heads Games-developed horror adventure, Silver Chains, on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on January 29.
Silver Chains tells the story of Peter who finds himself in a haunted manor after a car accident. His general idea was to go in look for help or a place to stay for the night, little did he know he’d be doing the time warp again. Jokes aside, he realizes that he might now be alone and becomes trapped in a nightmare that he must continue on if only to make it out alive.
Silver Chains initially released on Steam and is developed using Unreal Engine 4. The game features light puzzles and horror elements to keep players on edge. Peter doesn’t have an attack so players will need to sneak their way past danger, run, and hide in order to survive encounters.
The publisher also released a new trailer showing Silver Chains running on console hardware. The game holds a “Mostly Positive” rating from Steam users siting that pacing and interaction with objects needed a little more work.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on future Headup published projects.
