Konami and Neobards Entertainment have announced that their survival horror game Silent Hill f has sold over one million units in three days since release.
This feat outpaces the pace at which the remake of Silent Hill 2 sold, which took roughly a week.

This entry stands out from the rest of the series for several reasons. It’s set in Japan rather than America, and it’s been written and crafted by Ryukishi07, the creator of Higurashi and Umineko, two extremely popular and influential horror-mystery kinetic novel titles. The game’s concept is “Find the beauty in terror.”
Silent Hill f is set in the 1960s in a rural town in Japan, Ebisugaoka, which is based on an actual location: Kanayama, Gero, in the Gifu Prefecture. Moreover, the characters and monsters were designed by kera.
Akira Yamaoka composed the music for the Fog World, while Kensuke Inage composed the music for the Otherworld. Composers dai and xaki from Ryukishi07’s other works are also involved.
An official novelization was announced.
Silent Hill f is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
