SIFU Reveals Xbox and Steam Release Window Alongside Free Arenas Mode Update

Sloclap announced that their Kung Fu action game, Sifu, will launch on Xbox One and Xbox Series X and PC via Steam in March 2023. Further, the developer will launch a free update that includes a new Arenas mode, which will be available for all versions of the game.

The new Arenas mode will feature nine new maps, each with exclusive new challenges of varying difficulty levels. Completing the arenas will progressively unlock a new modifiers batch, which doubles the current game’s amount and brings alternative moves to utilize. Completing the new Arenas challenges will unlock new cheats and exclusive new outfits.

Sifu follows the life of the fighter who takes down those who wronged him. Players will hunt down enemies across multiple areas and rid them of the suburbs. Players must also use their environment to take down enemies and utilize various styles to survive encounters. The game adds challenge by having enemies gang up on the player character as they fight.

To overcome the odds that are heavily stacked against you, you’ll need to rely on your mastery of Kung Fu, and on a magical pendant that will revive you after death. The cost of magic is dear, however, and you will age significantly every time you come back to life: time is the price you will pay for your revenge.
