Sifu Arenas Update Releasing Next Week for PlayStation, Xbox & PC

During the Future Games Show Spring Showcase 2023, developer Slopclap announced that their critically acclaimed Kung Fu action game, Sifu, will receive its Arenas update on March 28, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Additionally, this date will also mark when the game launches for Xbox and Steam.

Players can anticipate roughly ten more hours of gameplay, nine new locations, and 45 challenges. New modes include Survival, Performance, and Time Attack. Other new features will include Capture mode, where one must take control of a select area over time, and Manhunt mode where a singular target must be taken out.

Sifu follows the life of the fighter who takes down those who wronged him. Players will hunt down enemies across multiple areas and rid them of the suburbs. Players must also use their environment to take down enemies and utilize various styles to survive encounters. The game adds challenge by having enemies gang up on the player character as they fight.

To overcome the odds that are heavily stacked against you, you’ll need to rely on your mastery of Kung Fu, and on a magical pendant that will revive you after death. The cost of magic is dear, however, and you will age significantly every time you come back to life: time is the price you will pay for your revenge.
