Navel announced their plans to release Shuffle! Episode 2 as a continuation of the Shuffle! IP that spawned into its own anime.
The team behind the original Shuffle!, which launched on PC-via Steam in 2016, will return to work on the sequel. The team will include Baria Ago as a script draft writer as well as Higashinosuke, Kōta Takeuchi, Fumihiko Kuwabara, and Jackson Oh working on scripts. Additionally, the original designers of Shuffle!, Aoi Nishimata and Hiro Suzuhira, will return to the project and will produce new art for the game.
The Shuffle! series stars Rin Tsuchimi who seems to be in quite the predicament as he finds himself being hounded by a group of girls. It just so happens that this world consists of humans living alongside gods and devils. Evidently, Rin has something that these girls desire and so throughout the game players will be able to choose which girl he ends up with.
The game originally released in 2004 and has since received updated and adult content additions. Its latest release in the west came in 2016 when it launched on Steam. The game also has a line of spin-offs as well as an anime adaptation.
The developer has launched a website for the title, but a western release has not been confirmed at this time.
