Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Shovel Knight Showdown Both Release on PS4, Switch, and PC Next Month
Yacht Club Games is celebrating the long life of the Shovel Knight series with more Shovel Knight. The publisher has announced that Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Shovel Knight Showdown will launch on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on December 10 for $9.99.
Shovel Knight: King of Cards is the final campaign in the Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove saga. Players can play through the adventure of King Knight to bash and spin jump through anything that stands in his way. The game features 4 new worlds with more than 30 new courses which lead to a fight with the Three Kings who lord over the land. There’s also a collectible card game called Joustus with over 120 unique cars.
Shovel Knight Showdown is a platforming fighter where players will duel with up to 4 others. The game features a roster of known Shovel Knight characters with more than 16 playable at launch. There’s also a Story Mode for each character offering a unique campaign.
Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Shovel Knight Showdown are each available for free to those who own the Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove edition of the game. This excludes Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita versions.
