Shooter Genre Focused Event ‘Realms Deep 2021’ Begins Today with Special Guests, Interviews, World Premieres, and More

3D Realms has announced that their digital event, Realms Deep, is beginning its second annual show today from August 13 to August 15. This event focuses on news regarding shooter games and boasts special guests, world premieres, and other surprises.

During last year’s show, publisher 3D Realms featured over 40 notable shooter titles, but this year’s show is immensely more ambitious and aims to showcase over 150 games across the 3-day period. Several developers will be making appearances throughout the duration of this event, including Slipgate Ironworks, Devolver Digital, 1C Entertainment, and Running with Scissors.

Frederik Schreiber, CEO of 3D Realms, said the following regarding Realms Deep 2021:

The main show will be airing live tomorrow, August 14, at 10 AM PDT/ 1 PM EDT on the 3D Realms Twitch channel. This is also when the majority of the “big surprises” are said to be shown. There will also be a Realms Deep-themed sale on Steam, discounting many of the titles that will be in the show.
