NIS America announced that the City Connection shmup action collection Psikyo Shooting Stars Bravo will launch on Nintendo Switch in the west on February 18, 2020.

This collection includes:

  • Samurai Aces Episode I
  • Samurai Aces Episode II: TENGAI
  • Samurai Aces Episode III: SENGOKU CANNON
  • GUNBIRD
  • GUNBIRD2
  • GUNBARICH

To celebrate the announcement, the team has put together a new trailer showing gameplay from Psikyo Shooting Stars Bravo, which is launching after Psikyo Shooting Stars Alpha. Each collection has a different line-up of games for players to shoot their way through.

Psikyo Shooting Stars Alpha will contain the following titles:

  • Strikers 1945
  • Strikers 1945 II
  • Strikers 1945 III
  • Sol Divide
  • Dragon Blaze
  • Zero Gunner 2

The games in the collection will be easily recognized by fans of the genre as some of the best shmup games available. The developer has also pointed out that game has been brought to the Switch with the highest quality in mind, making it a pixel-perfect port. Additionally, the collection has an option to play the game either horizontally or vertically for those arcade loyalists. There is also a local co-op mode for players to play with a friend.

Although this collection has been released in Asia on Switch, the line up of titles available on the different versions have been altered so the release isn’t exactly the same.
