Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate Reveals Switch Key Art, But No Release Date

Spike Chunsoft revealed the keyart for Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate coming to Nintendo Switch and PC-via Steam in 2021. However, they did not reveal a release date.

The keyart has been created by the series artist Kaoru Hasegawa and depicts the adventure and characters that Shiren will meet throughout the game. This installment marks the fifth entry into the mainline Shiren the Wanderer series.

During gameplay, players can fight their way through floors and floors of dungeons filled with monsters and loot. Features such as roguelike mechanics are also present that has you lose items upon death, but there’s still a layer of options to get you back into action and even stronger to make it further.

This is an enhanced port of the Vita release and will include exclusive new dungeons and tweaks to the balance. Given the retro visuals, I’m not sure how much better you can make the graphics, but this game has always been pretty nice to look at.

The story follows a legend that has Reeva, the god of Destiny, deciding the fate of mankind with a trio of magic dice. Players assume the role of Shiren with the help of his sidekick Koppa on a quest to conquer the Tower of Fortune.
