Capcom announced that Shinsekai: Into the Depths is available now on Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Switch eShop.
Shinsekai: Into the Depths has players travel underwater as they struggle with the solidarity of being the last surviving human. As an ice age approaches, players are tasked with journeying deep into the depths to gather resources, find upgrades for the gear, and craft new items to allow them to go even further.
During gameplay, players will need to keep an eye on their oxygen and pressure levels as they spend time in the depths. The gameplay is meant to be immersive and will require players to use various skills in order to survive. Additionally, the game includes combat against underwater foes, which includes boss battles. Getting through the environments has some light puzzle-solving elements to it as players navigate the levels.
The Nintendo Switch version of Shinsekai: Into the Depths will feature Another Dive time-challenge mode, where players dive as quickly as possible and fight monsters, and Jukebox Mode, where players can listen to their favorite music at any time.
Both modes are also available as a free update for Apple Arcade users.
