The official Youtube channel for Atlus Japan has shared the 69th Daily Demon video for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei V. This entry highlights the iconic Berith, a beginner-level Persona/demon who has made his rounds across his fair share of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei titles.
In a 17th century written text called The Lesser Key of Solomon, Berith is depicted as a Great Duke of Hell with several demons under his command. He could also transmute metals into gold, making him a vital being for aspiring alchemists to research.
Berith wields Maragi, the first stage multi-hit fire elemental spell, and multiple physical skills, making him an assuredly decent all-rounder that players can rely on in the early stages of the game.
You can view the Shin Megami Tensei V Daily Demon video introducing Berith below:
Shin Megami Tensei V takes place after a murder occurs in modern-day Tokyo that blocks the game’s protagonist from walking home. The detour may have been due to fate or another force, but he finds himself buried and unconscious.
When he awakens, he finds himself in a new Tokyo, a wasteland after the apocalypse known as Da’at. He quickly finds out that he’s not alone, as demons are closing in on his location. However, a mighty being known as a Nahobino appears and saves him. With this power, the protagonist can venture through Da’at and hopefully get some answers about what happened to this former home.
Shin Megami Tensei V is releasing for Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2021.
