Shin Megami Tensei V Daily Demon Video #67 Showcases Vishnu The Preserver
The official Youtube channel for Atlus Japan has shared the 67th Daily Demon video for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei V. This entry highlights the legendary Hindu God, Vishnu. He is a prominent figure in Hindu myth and is also known as the Preserver, who aims to grant the world balance. Alongside the numerous tales detailing his heroic exploits, Vishnu is labeled to judge if humanity has been collectively good or evil after an inestimable amount of time.
Vishnu wields high-tier skills such as Mediarahan, a maximum heal, and Mahamabarion, an all-field-hitting light spell. He is constantly an end-game level Persona/demon throughout the several games he appears in.

Shin Megami Tensei V takes place after a murder occurs in modern-day Tokyo that blocks the game’s protagonist from walking home. The detour may have been due to fate or another force, but he finds himself buried and unconscious.
When he awakens, he finds himself in a new Tokyo, a wasteland after the apocalypse known as Da’at. He quickly finds out that he’s not alone, as demons are closing in on his location. However, a mighty being known as a Nahobino appears and saves him. With this power, the protagonist can venture through Da’at and hopefully get some answers about what happened to this former home.
Shin Megami Tensei V is releasing for Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2021.
