Shin Megami Tensei V Daily Demon Video #53 Showcases Classic Cutie Pixie

The official Youtube channel for Atlus Japan has shared the 53rd Daily Demon video for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei V. This entry showcases the classic and certainly one of the most well-known demons throughout the Shin Megami Tensei series, Pixie.

In the video section briefly demonstrating Pixie’s combative prowess, some notable skills of her arsenal are the wind spell, Zan, the defensive enhancement spell, Rakukaja, and, of course, the textbook healing spell, Dia.

While Pixie is pretty much a staple of all Shin Megami Tensei and Persona games, her cutesy design never gets old. Besides, the unique contexts throughout the SMT games are enough to negate any long-lasting moments of repetitive dullness for returning Demons.

Shin Megami Tensei V takes place after a murder occurs in modern-day Tokyo that blocks the game’s protagonist from walking home. The detour may have been fate or something else, but he finds himself buried and unconscious.

When he awakens, he finds himself in a new Tokyo, a wasteland after the apocalypse known as Da’at. He quickly finds out that he’s not alone, as demons are closing in on his location. However, a mighty being known as a Nahobino appears and saves him. With this power, the protagonist can venture through Da’at and hopefully get some answers about what happened to this former home.

Shin Megami Tensei V is coming to Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2021.
