Shin Megami Tensei V Daily Demon Video #168 Showcases Demoness of Unfathomable Love, Moh Shuvuu

The official Youtube channel for Atlus Japan has shared the 168th Daily Demon video for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei V. This entry highlights Moh Shuvuu, a demon from Mongolian mythology said to be the spirit of a girl who passed away without acquiring a personal understanding of love. Using her charm to her advantage, Moh Shuvuu lures unsuspecting men to unpopulated areas. Afterward, she transforms into her actual demonic state, a vicious bird that devours victims’ brains.

Moh Shuvuu wields Zanma, Mazanma, and Masakukaja, making her a magic-centric demon boasting an affinity for the element of wind and the ability to heighten battle speed in a fittingly conceptually tied vein to wind. She debuted in Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner, and her first Persona game appearance was in the first title.

Shin Megami Tensei V takes place after a murder occurs in modern-day Tokyo that blocks the game’s protagonist from walking home. The detour may have been due to fate or another force, but he finds himself buried and unconscious.

When he awakens, he finds himself in a new Tokyo, a wasteland after the apocalypse known as Da’at. He quickly finds out that he’s not alone, as demons are closing in on his location. However, a mighty being known as a Nahobino appears and saves him. With this power, the protagonist can venture through Da’at and hopefully get some answers about what happened to his former home.

Shin Megami Tensei V is releasing for Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2021.
