Shin Megami Tensei V Daily Demon Video #137 Showcases the Fittingly Named High Pixie

The official Youtube channel for Atlus Japan has shared the 137th Daily Demon video for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei V. This entry highlights High Pixie, a leader, and commander of younger Pixies. And even though she is as vexatious as their younger variants, she still is their protector. Lower-ranking Pixies who are proficient and loyal become High Pixies after a certain amount of time has passed.

High Pixie wields Media, Zio, Mazan, Concentrate, and Sukunda, making her expectedly magically inclined with an affinity for providing beneficial effects like buffing, debuffing, and healing. She debuted in Shin Megami Tensei II, and her first Persona game appearance was in Persona 3 FES.

Shin Megami Tensei V takes place after a murder occurs in modern-day Tokyo that blocks the game’s protagonist from walking home. The detour may have been due to fate or another force, but he finds himself buried and unconscious.

When he awakens, he finds himself in a new Tokyo, a wasteland after the apocalypse known as Da’at. He quickly finds out that he’s not alone, as demons are closing in on his location. However, a mighty being known as a Nahobino appears and saves him. With this power, the protagonist can venture through Da’at and hopefully get some answers about what happened to his former home.

Shin Megami Tensei V is releasing for Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2021.
