Shin Megami Tensei V Daily Demon Video #117 Showcases the Infamously Violent Rage Controller Andras

The official Youtube channel for Atlus Japan has shared the 117th Daily Demon video for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei V. This entry highlights Andras, the 63rd demon labeled in the Ars Goetia book. His distinct appearance consists of a humanoid body shape coupled with angelic wings and an owl head. He is known for being one of the more dangerous and vicious demons to summon due to how he kills his casters and their attendants with little notice if they are in his field of attack. Additionally, he can control the feeling of rage embedded within somebody to lash out against another.

Andras wields Critical Wave, Zanma, and Sukukaja and is more magic-oriented across his various appearances. He debuted in the original Shin Megami Tensei and first appeared in the Persona series with Persona 4.

Shin Megami Tensei V takes place after a murder occurs in modern-day Tokyo that blocks the game’s protagonist from walking home. The detour may have been due to fate or another force, but he finds himself buried and unconscious.

When he awakens, he finds himself in a new Tokyo, a wasteland after the apocalypse known as Da’at. He quickly finds out that he’s not alone, as demons are closing in on his location. However, a mighty being known as a Nahobino appears and saves him. With this power, the protagonist can venture through Da’at and hopefully get some answers about what happened to his former home.

Shin Megami Tensei V is releasing for Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2021.
