Shin Megami Tensei V Daily Demon Video #116 Showcases the Unholy Unicorn Bicorn
The official Youtube channel for Atlus Japan has shared the 116th Daily Demon video for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei V. This entry highlights Bicorn, depicted as an unholy unicorn in European mythology. Unicorns are often considered holy, primarily due to their 1 horn symbolizing purity, while 2 horns, which Bicorns have, represent sins such as infidelity. Additionally, the males are specifically called Bicorns, while the females are called Chichevaches.
Bicorn wields Mamudo, Marin Karin, and is more physically than magically adept in his latest iterations. He debuted in Shin Megami Tensei II, while his first Persona appearance was in Persona 5.
You can view the Shin Megami Tensei V Daily Demon video introducing Bicorn below:
Shin Megami Tensei V takes place after a murder occurs in modern-day Tokyo that blocks the game’s protagonist from walking home. The detour may have been due to fate or another force, but he finds himself buried and unconscious.
When he awakens, he finds himself in a new Tokyo, a wasteland after the apocalypse known as Da’at. He quickly finds out that he’s not alone, as demons are closing in on his location. However, a mighty being known as a Nahobino appears and saves him. With this power, the protagonist can venture through Da’at and hopefully get some answers about what happened to his former home.
Shin Megami Tensei V is releasing for Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2021.
