The official Youtube channel for Atlus Japan has shared the 109th Daily Demon video for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei V. This entry highlights Ose, a great president of Hell who first takes the form of a leopard before then donning the appearance of a human man. He is brilliant in the realms of divinity and science. Further, Ose possesses the ability to transform other men into altered identities without them knowing. However, he can also induce them into a temporary state of identity crisis coupled with insanity.

Ose wields Critical Wave, Charge, and Ice Dracostrike, making him a clear physical attacker. He is iconic in Shin Megami Tensei and Persona, being around since the former’s inception while debuting for the latter in Persona 3.

Shin Megami Tensei V takes place after a murder occurs in modern-day Tokyo that blocks the game’s protagonist from walking home. The detour may have been due to fate or another force, but he finds himself buried and unconscious.

When he awakens, he finds himself in a new Tokyo, a wasteland after the apocalypse known as Da’at. He quickly finds out that he’s not alone, as demons are closing in on his location. However, a mighty being known as a Nahobino appears and saves him. With this power, the protagonist can venture through Da’at and hopefully get some answers about what happened to his former home.

Shin Megami Tensei V is releasing for Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2021.
