Shin Megami Tensei V Daily Demon Video #107 Showcases Hindu Goddess and Seductive Dancer Lakshmi

The official Youtube channel for Atlus Japan has shared the 107th Daily Demon video for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei V. This entry highlights Lakshmi, a goddess in Hindu myth who specializes in beauty and good fortune. She is said to possess the idealized female body image, and her seductive dances have charmed numerous gods.

Lakshmi wields Mediarahan, Hamabarion, and Sexy Dance, making her a magic-centric demon with an affinity for the element of light while also providing invaluable support for status ailments and healing. She is usually an end-game demon/Persona in the titles she appears in. Speaking of, Lakshmi is a veteran in both Shin Megami Tensei and Persona, with her first appearance in the former being in the series’ first outing, while her first Persona-related appearance was back in Persona 2: Innocent Sin.

You can view the Shin Megami Tensei V Daily Demon video introducing Lakshmi below:

Shin Megami Tensei V takes place after a murder occurs in modern-day Tokyo that blocks the game’s protagonist from walking home. The detour may have been due to fate or another force, but he finds himself buried and unconscious.

When he awakens, he finds himself in a new Tokyo, a wasteland after the apocalypse known as Da’at. He quickly finds out that he’s not alone, as demons are closing in on his location. However, a mighty being known as a Nahobino appears and saves him. With this power, the protagonist can venture through Da’at and hopefully get some answers about what happened to his former home.

Shin Megami Tensei V is releasing for Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2021.
