Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster Highlights Story and Gameplay in New Trailer

Atlus released a new trailer for Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on May 25, 2021.

The trailer highlights the narrative of Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne where a normal day in Tokyo turns into something no one could have imagined. The remains of the world are swallowed by chaos, as a demonic revolution descends into a broken city. Caught between a battle of gods and demons, the choices you make can bring life, rebirth, or death, and determine who triumphs.

This remastered version includes:  
  • Remastered 3D models and backgrounds  
  • Additional difficulty settings for players of all skill levels  
    • Including an easier difficulty level MERCIFUL as free DLC 
  • Suspend save    
  • Voiced audio – choose between Japanese and English VO  
  • An alternate branch featuring Raidou Kuzunoha 

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster will include updated visuals and balanced systems for this new release. Nocturne is actually an updated version of Shin Megami Tensei III released globally; Atlus sure loves updated their games.

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster will have players take on the role of a boy who has found himself facing the apocalypse. After receiving new powers from Lucifer, he must survive in what is known as the Vortex World.

The game features turn-based combat with a unique Press Turn system. This allows players to exploit actions in battles to receive an extra turn.

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster is being released 17 years after the original PlayStation 2 release.
