Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster 60 FPS Fan Mod Now Complete & Available
Nocturne fan vvdashdash recently completed their work on a highly ambitious mod for Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD on PC, enabling users to play the game at 60 FPS. For those unaware, the title’s official release state runs at a 30 FPS cap, which has been quite disappointing for many.
Despite the game being turn-based, making framerate not exactly a crucial factor in practicality, lacking 60 FPS does make the experience feel more rigid than it would otherwise be.
Thankfully, this mod lets one set any custom framerate cap alongside choosing between other notable options, such as disabling bloom, hiding UI, altering resolution, and more. However, vvdashdash does note that the only exceptions to framerate changes are the Puzzle Boy minigames sections and the Amala Network. Still, every other part of the game should run at 60 FPS just fine.
