Sherlock Holmes Chapter One Gets Next-Gen and PC Release Date

Frogwares announced that their detective adventure game Sherlock Holmes Chapter One will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC-via Steam on November 16, 2021. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release has been delayed.

Sherlock Holmes Chapter One follows the adventures of detective Sherlock Holmes as players will investigate and follow cases using a myriad of options that affect gameplay. The choices that players make weigh on the adventure, but there are several ways to approach gameplay. For example, players can use brute force to solve a problem or act more cunningly and stay one step ahead of their enemies.

The game centers around a young and ambitious Sherlock who doesn’t mind getting into a few fights or playing dirty. Through missions, he’ll earn a reputation that can positively and negatively affect the outcome of the narrative. Through global investigation, you must explore to find clues across the entire city in your pursuit of truth, using clues, rumors, disguises, tags, and pinned evidence to build a solid case within your mind palace.

The 19th-century setting provides much for players to look forward to. Further, there are some liberties taken with the story that stares Jon, not John Watson. This new character is a mystery to uncover through gameplay.
