Deep Silver announced that the Story Quest Pack DLC for the Ys Net-developed adventure Shenmue III, will launch on February 18.
The Story Quest Pack DLC will include a new scenario with Ryo Hazuki as he crosses paths with a familiar face from his past, Zhang Shugin. As Ryo learns more about the mission that he faces, he discovers that nothing is as it seems.
The Story Quest Pack DLC will launch on PlayStation Store and Epic Games Store for $5.99. Players will need to have reached Niaowu or have cleared save data to play through the new story missions.
Shenmue III follows the events after Shenmue II, where Ryo Hazuki embarks on a new journey. The game will feature the series’ iconic martial arts action sequences and activities as well as introduce new systems. The developer has already reported that this is not the end of the series.
