Shenmue III Gets DLC Release Date Allowing Fans to Play as a Different Character for Rally

Deep Silver revealed DLC for the Ys Net-developed adventure Shenmue III, which is planned to release on PlayStation 4 and PC-via Epic Games Store on January 21.

Known as “Battle Rally,” gives players a new activity to participate in during the game. This allows them to head into a race full of various contestants while making their way through a course.

This DLC also allows players to assume the role of a different character other than Ryo Hazuki. Players can choose from Wuying Ren or Wei Zhen to make their way through the course and receive items.

Shenmue III follows the events after Shenmue II, where Ryo Hazuki embarks on a new journey. The game will feature the series’ iconic martial arts action sequences and activities as well as introduce new systems. The developer has already reported that this is not the end of the series.
