Shaymin Encounter Coming to Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Today

During this morning’s Pokémon Presents presentation, an announcement was made that Legendary Pokémon Shaymin will be arriving in the Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes later today via a Mystery Gift event that will be available until March 27, 2022.

Players will be able to receive a Mystery Gift containing “Oak’s Letter,” which will enable them to travel to the island where Shaymin is located and have a chance to catch the Grass-type legendary.

This is the first time Shaymin has been officially available in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. However, it was previously catchable due to a glitch allowing the player character to break through the boundaries of the map and access Shaymin’s “Flower Paradise” location.
