Shadowman Darque Legacy Revealed as Single-Player Action Horror; Teaser Trailer Streaming Now

Blowfish Studios revealed their new single-player action horror Shadowman Darque Legacy, coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store at an announced date.

The team revealed some information about the game, saying that it will retain the horror elements of the series, which first started in 1999 as a video game adaptation of the Valiant comic series. The series received a sequel in 2002 called Shadow Man: 2econd Coming, but we haven’t seen much of it aside from a remastered release of the original game.

Shadowman Darque Legacy has players play as Jack Boniface, who wields a scythe. The goal is to defend humanity against Deadside throughout a world, shifting between two planes of existence, each with its own twisted challenges. Players will fight their way through enemies using supernatural weapons in combination with finishing moves as they battle both human foes and hellish abominations.
