Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Sells 10 Million Units Worldwide

Developer FromSoftware has announced that their hardcore action game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has sold over ten million units worldwide. The company has thanked the fans who have supported the title since its launch in March 2019.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a single-player action game where players must use shinobi skills to take down tough enemies. The story takes place in the late 1500s Sengoku, Japan, where the conflict of life and death is instilled in all warriors. The game features large environments and towering boss battles that have players beating at their controllers to progress.

During the game, players will need to understand how to unleash surprise attacks, but if they get into a confrontation, deflection and patience are key to taking down the opponent. Taking a step back during a confrontation in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is not unheard of since sizing up your opponent might help you in the end. It’s an inherently different title from other FromSoftware games, heavily emphasizing parrying above all else. Many also see it as the developer’s most challenging title.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
