Two decades after Sword Saint Isshin Ashina reclaimed the region in a brutal coup, a new threat emerges from within: The Interior Ministry. Desperate to protect his homeland, Isshin’s grandson Genichiro turns to forbidden powers.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a game known for its precision and intensity, and those qualities carry through beautifully in this adaptation We’re excited to bring Sekiro: No Defeat to fans around the world, and honored to work alongside Kadokawa, Qzil.la, and ARCH to expand this iconic story through the medium of anime.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a single-player action game where players must use shinobi skills to take down tough enemies. The story takes place in the late 1500s in Sengoku, Japan, where the conflict of life and death is instilled in all warriors. The game features large environments and towering boss battles that have players beating at their controllers to progress.
During the game, players will need to understand how to unleash surprise attacks, but if they get into a confrontation, deflection and patience are key to taking down the opponent. Taking a step back during a confrontation in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is not unheard of, since sizing up your opponent might help you in the end. It’s an inherently different title from other FromSoftware games, heavily emphasizing parrying above all else. Many also see it as the developer’s most challenging title.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
