Sega revealed that their real-time-strategy game Revolve8 will launch in Japan on January 22 and Globally on February 5 for iOS and Android devices. The game will also receive a pre-launch on January 17 in select regions, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao.
From the director of Jet Set Radio and producer of Yakuza Masayoshi Kikuchi, Revolve8 takes players to a world based in Imago, which is created from folklore and fairy tales. In this world, a war will break out every century and give a group of heroes the chance to gain fame.
During gameplay, players will use cards to launch attacks with their units. Each card has their own strength and weakness, allowing players to create 3 different types of decks, Assault, Siege, or Counter. Each match will have a 3-minute time limit, where players must destroy the enemies towers.
Additionally, Koji Igarashi, who is known for Castlevania: Symphony of the night and is currently working on Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, is the character designer.
