Sega CEO Shares Brief Message Regarding Sonic the Hedgehog’s Future
The official Twitter account for Sonic the Hedgehog has released a new statement from Sega’s CEO, Haruki Satomi, regarding the future of the blue blur’s franchise. It’s a rather vague statement, but it does exude confidence that will hopefully bear fruit in the near future.

Developed by the experienced members of SEGA’s Sonic Team Japan, led by producer Sachiko Kawamura and director Morio Kishimoto, Sonic Frontiers will bring Sonic fans an all-new type of Sonic experience. In the dangerous and vast world of Sonic Frontiers, anything is possible, and players will have the freedom to explore the visually stunning, open-zone realm.

Sonic Frontiers is releasing for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Holiday 2022. A teaser site has launched. Further, the setting of the title was confirmed to be called Starfall Islands.
