Sea of Stars Sells Over 250,000 Units Worldwide
Developer Sabotage Studio has announced that their latest hit, the turn-based RPG Sea of Stars, has sold over 250,000 units worldwide. Immense congratulations to the team, and here’s to further success.
Sea of Stars stars Valere and Zale, two characters with the same fate of becoming Solstice Warriors. Each shares the power of the Sun and Moon to perform what is known as Eclipse Magic to fight against an evil alchemist, The Fleshmancer.
Combat in Sea of Stars has players take control of six-party members in turn-based RPG systems. The game also removes level grinding as character skills are unlocked through game progression and not tied to how many fights are taken. When battles occur, players must use their tactical skills to make it out and pre-emptively counter powerful enemy attacks.
The game sold over 100,000 units in less than a day.
