Sea of Stars Shares 19 Minutes of New Gameplay Footage

Game Informer has shared 19 minutes of new gameplay footage for the upcoming Sabotage Studio-developed turn-based RPG, Sea of Stars, as part of their ongoing exclusive coverage. A variety of dungeon exploration and combat are showcased. Further, the video’s commentators, cover story writer Kyle Hilliard and Charles Harte, discuss the title’s features at length.

Sea of Stars stars Valere and Zale, two characters who share the same fate of becoming Solstice Warriors. Each share the power of the Sun and Moon to perform what is known as Eclipse Magic to fight against an evil alchemist, The Fleshmancer.

Combat in Sea of Stars has players take control of six-party members in turn-based RPG systems. The game also removes level grinding as character skills are unlocked through game progression and not tied to how many fights are taken. When battles occur, players must use their tactical skills to make it out and pre-emptively counter powerful enemy attacks.

Sea of Stars will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on August 29, 2023.
