Sci-fi Visual Novel ‘La Memoire’ Gets New Trailer Introducing Characters
Top Hat Studios released the first trailer for the Kalong Studio-developed science-fiction visual novel La Memoire, coming to PC-via Steam in 2020.
La Memoire takes place in the near future where androids have been created to assist with the daily tasks of humans. However, over time, the android began to replace humans and take their jobs, which caused protests. After it was decided to limit the use of androids, the robots were tasked with performing housework and helping older people only. Still, a black market emerged that found some androids still be used for tasks like manufacturing weapons and other shady dealings.
The story follows Inazuma Kazuya, who isn’t having the best of luck after losing his mother early in his life and then his best friend. Years later, he finds himself in a high school where he became acquainted with a few new people, Asami Mao and Kamome Saaya. Although Kazuya stills hold onto guilt, one day, he sees his childhood friend, but she doesn’t remember him.
The game features multiple routes and over 20 CGs. The developer share that the story is around 8 to 10 hours long. Currently, there’s a free demo available on Steam.
