Scarlet Nexus DLC Bond Enhancement Pack Details Revealed; Brain Crush Vision, New Base Items, Attachments, Costumes and Bonding Episodes

Bandai Namco has provided new information for the content arriving in Scarlet Nexus paid DLC Bond Enhancement Pack. On the game’s Japan website, this pack’s content details are provided.

The following are translations of each section by our team’s translator, Ryuji:

New Bonding Episodes

  • Ten new bonding episodes will be added. 5 for Yuito, 5 for Kasane. (already reported)

New Base Items

  • You can exchange for new base items at the Exchange Shop. These items can unlock new reactions and interactions to each of the characters.

New Bond Level: Level EX

  • Now you can go beyond Level 6, the maximum level for bonds. Level EX unlocks an ability titled Brain Crush Vision. Once you perform a Brain Crush, you can press the indicated button to make the character continue attacking the surrounding enemies, even after Yuito or Kasane’s animation ends.

New feature: Attachments

  • Reminisce your time together with characters by obtaining photos called Attachments. Once you collect enough Attachments, you can view special brain talks related to the photo in question. (This is very confusingly worded.)

New costumes: Yuito and Kasane

  • A new costume for Yuito, the Crimson Wolf’s Garms, and a new costume for Kasane, the White Swan’s Garms, will be added. Both outfits were designed by Kozaki Yuusuke, the artist for the Fire Emblem series.

Scarlet Nexus is set in the distant future, where a psionic hormone has been discovered in the human brain. This leads to people gaining extra-sensory powers and thus changing the world. Humanity entered a new era, but deranged mutants known as Others began to descend from the sky with a hunger for human brains.

These enemies aren’t affected by mortal weapons, so humanity is forced to rely on those with abilities to save the world. Players take on the role of Yuito Sumeragi or Kasane Randall to uncover the mysteries of a Brain Punk future caught between technological dependence and psychic abilities.
