Action RPG ‘Sands of Aura’ Leaving Early Access & Releasing 1.0 Version Late October 2023

Freedom Games has announced that the Chasu Entertainment-developed isometric action RPG Sands of Aura will leave Early Access and launch its 1.0 version for PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store on October 27, 2023, for $24.99.

Sands of Aura has players explore the realm of Talamhel, comprised of an endless sea of sand due to the Night Plague. Humanity’s final protectors, the Order of Remnant Knights, unite and bolster their efforts to combat this threat. The gameplay features soulslike combat, with seven combat styles, alongside customizable armor, weapons, magic, and consumables.

The world’s haunting atmosphere is brought to life by the compositions of Eduardo Lopez, the Grainwake vessel players will use, and a sanctuary known as the Starspire.

Creative Director Michael Shistik said the following regarding this news:

“With version 1.0, we offer our players a journey filled with peaks and valleys, exploration, and demanding challenges. Talamhel, a world six years in the making, is both dark and desolate yet filled with trust, kindness, and resilience, a testament to those who call it home.

They have described Sands of Aura as a world infused with Tim Burton-esque art, the exploration of Wind Waker, and the demanding combat of Souls-like games.
