Akira Toriyama Adventure ‘Sand Land’ Reveals Story Trailer
Bandai Namco has shared a new trailer for their upcoming ILCA-developed action adventure, Sand Land. The story is the focus here, with the cast doing their best in this sandy land. Their collective goal is to find the Legendary Spring capable of restoring water.
Sand Land was created by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama and published as part of Weekly Shonen Jump from May 22, 2000, through August 28, 2000.
Not much information has been provided outside of the trailers. Still, Bandai Namco stated that “The Sand Land project will introduce you to the world, characters, and vehicles from Sand Land through various collaborations and mediums.” Loadouts can be customized for exploration and battle.
The adventure will have both on-foot and vehicle exploration, with the latter especially taking centerstage. We’re curious to see how extensive that element will be in the full experience.
The cast is described as the following:
“Beelzebub has a pure heart like a little boy but has superhuman strength and telepathic abilities. Rao, a small-town sheriff, seeks the aid of demons to save all of Sand Land from the water shortage. Thief, a wise old demon with thieving abilities, also accompanies Beelzebub and Rao on their adventure.”
