Sand Land Reveals 12 New Minutes of Gameplay

IGN has shared twelve new minutes of gameplay for the upcoming ILCA-developed and Bandai Namco-published action-adventure title Sand Land. The vehicle gameplay is the primary draw here, with a bit of cutscene footage for those curious about the narrative’s direction.

Sand Land was created by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama and published as part of Weekly Shonen Jump from May 22, 2000, through August 28, 2000.

Not much information has been provided outside of the trailer, but Bandai Namco stated that “The Sand Land project will introduce you to the world, characters, and vehicles from Sand Land through various collaborations and mediums.” Loadouts can be customized for exploration and battle.

The cast is described as the following:

“Beelzebub has a pure heart like a little boy but has superhuman strength and telepathic abilities. Rao, a small-town sheriff, seeks the aid of demons to save all of Sand Land from the water shortage. Thief, a wise old demon with thieving abilities also accompanies Beelzebub and Rao on their adventure.”

Sand Land will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
