Sand Land Project Revealed in Trailer as Visual Adaptation of Manga by SUNRISE, Kamikaze Douga, and ANIMA
Bandai Namco announced they will publish the visual adaptation of Sand Land titled Sand Land Project. This will be a collaborative venture produced by studios SUNRISE, Kamikaze Douga, and ANIMA for a 2023 release.
Sand Land was created by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama and published as part of Weekly Shonen Jump from May 22, 2000, through August 28, 2000.
Not much information was provided outside of the trailer, but Bandai Namco charged that “The Sand Land project will introduce you to the world, characters, and vehicles from Sand Land through various collaborations and mediums.”

About Sand Land: Sand Land is a popular manga created by Akira Toriyama, the author of Dragon Ball and Dr. Slump. Serialized intensively for a short period in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2000, the one volume comic has gained worldwide popularity since its publishing.
Story: In a desert world where both demons and humans suffer from an extreme water shortage, Beelzebub, the prince of demons, and Rao, a small-town sheriff, form a tag-team and set off on an adventure in search of the Phantom Lake somewhere in the desert.
