SNK released a character trailer for Samurai Shodown, available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The trailer highlights the newest character added to the game’s roster of fighters, Iroha. Also, the trailer let’s players now that they can play as the busty fighter on May 13, which is less than a week away. During the trailer, viewers are able to see Iroha in action along with a few of her special moves.
Iroha is a part of Season Pass 2, which adds four new characters to the roster, Mina Majikina, and Sogetsu Kazama. The fourth character will be revealed at a later date. Each of the new fighters will launch with unique movesets balanced to the current roster for players to develop new strategies for the fighter.
Samurai Shodown will reboot the 2D fighting game series by presenting it with a new 3D graphical look. However, the developer has worked hard to retain the classic fantasy Samurai manga look of the series. Samurai Shodown is set in the late 18th century after the events of Samurai Showdown V and prior to the events of the original game. Each of the fighters has a personal mission which leads them to encounter many of their former foes.
