Samurai Shodown Reveals Hibiki Takane as Newest DLC Fighter

SNK Corporation launched a new gameplay trailer revealing Hibiki Takane as the newest character for their fighter Samurai Shodown Season 3 content.

Hibiki will be available on April 28, 2021, joining Cham Cham on the roster. She was previously a playable character in The Last Blade game series and utilizes a sword-wielding fighting style. She is calm and driven by her resolve to overcome trials as she unsheathes her sword at incredible speeds to take down her opponents.

Samurai Shodown is a reboot of the 2D fighting game series by presenting it with a new 3D graphical look. However, the developer has worked hard to retain the classic fantasy Samurai manga look of the series. Samurai Shodown is set in the late 18th century after the events of Samurai Showdown V and prior to the events of the original game. Each of the fighters has a personal mission which leads them to encounter many of their former foes.
