During IGN’s Summer of Games 2020, Samuray Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky joined the stream to provide gameplay details on Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time.
Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time will feature environments based on settings from the show. The game’s combat system in the highlight of the adventure where Jack is able to use multiple weapons, which each have a unique fighting style. Furthermore, Jack is able to use a boy and arrow as he combos together with a chain of attacks.
Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is set moments before Samurai Jack’s ultimate confrontation with Aku. In this alternate timeline, Aku has trapped Jack, which forces him to team up with his closest friends and allies to fight against some of the series’ strongest villains.
Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is an action game with classic combat mechanics. The game also blends humor and drama to fit what fans love about the series. During gameplay, players will slice enemies using various techniques with over a dozen unique melee and ranged weapons. While fighting, new skills and abilities are unlocked to add a variety to the combat.
