Sega has announced that their previously announced rhythm game Samba de Amigo: Party Central will have content from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Specifically, “Escape From the City” from Sonic Adventure 2 and “Fist Bump” from Sonic Forces will be in the game. Additionally, a stage based on City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2 will also be part of this Sonic-themed content.

Samba de Amigo: Party Central is a new entry in the Samba de Amigo series. The playlist is set to include 40 songs from different genres, including EDM, pop, Latin, and more. There are also a few mini-games playable alongside challenges and costumes to unlock.
The game will support local two-player and 2 – 8 player online modes. Further, post-launch DLC has been confirmed. Joy-con controls will enable a smoother gameplay experience, with online leaderboards encouraging friendly competition and the World Party mode. Lastly, player individuality is emphasized with cosmetic customization.
