Saints Row: The Third Remastered Gets PS4, Xbox One, and PC Release Date in New Trailer

Deep Silver announced that the Volition-developed open-world action-adventure Saints Row: The Third will receive a remastered release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 22.

The port will be handled by the developer Spearasoft, who has transformed Steelport’s environments, character models, and visual effects to take advantage of the more powerful hardware. The team has also enhanced the graphics with a new lighting engine.

The launch of Saints Row: The Third Remastered will include all DLC released on the original game, 9 years ago. Each DLC has also received the remastered treatment.

During gameplay, players will be able to take on the Syndicate as they unravel the secrets of Steelport. Action can be found on nearly every corner, but players have a variety of weapons in their arsenal. Furthermore, the game features a variety of vehicles include hover jets, human cannonball cars, amongst others.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered brings back its character creation tools with options that allow players to create the character that they want. Also, players will be able to experience the game with friends in online co-op.

A new trailer was released to give players an idea of the visual enhancements added to the remastered version.

Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package is available now on Switch, however, this is not the remastered version.
