Saints Row IV: Re-Elected Gets Switch Release Date and New Trailer

Deep Silver announced that the Volition-developed open-world action game Saints Row IV: Re-Elected will launch on Nintendo Switch on March 27.

The Switch version of the game will include 25 DLC Packs for players, including Dubstep Gun (Remix) Pack, the Presidential Pack, the Commander-In-Chief Pack, and two celebrated episodic story expansions: Enter The Dominatrix and How The Saints Save Christmas.

Additionally, the game will feature its co-op mode with seamless drop-in, drop-out functionality.

Saints Row IV originally released on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in 2013 and has since seen a release on PS4 and Xbox One.

The publisher released a new trailer for the Switch version to give players a look at the game running on the hardware. Also, the trailer sets up the story full of explosions, alien fights, and dubstep.

Saints Row IV: Re-Elected is an open-world action game where players experience an over-the-top election, which follows an alien invasion as the game takes players through high action moments of the gameplay. Sure, the story is there, but there’s so much other stuff to do. The game seems to have ties with superheroes-like elements as players must rid the world of aliens along with completing other missions.
