SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions Will Include Improvements Not in Original Japanese Release

Square Enix announced that their JRPG adventure SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions is finally coming west for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC-via Steam, and iOS and Android devices.

The developer revealed that SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions is currently in development to release in North America and Europe, bringing the title to the west for the first time. However, this won’t be the only improvement to the game. The developer revealed that SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions will differ from the Japanese release and include “variety of improvements and additions” when compared to the original Japanese release in 2016. The story follows four protagonists, Urpina, Taria, Balmant, and Leonard, who each have their own unique storyline.

This enhanced version of SaGa: Scarlet Grace will include updated graphics as well as newly rendered character models to make characters and animation look their best on the more powerful hardware devices. Additionally, Character voice-overs have been added along with improvements to the game’s weapons and skills systems. Through the game, players will be able to recruit over 70 allies and use them to execute various strategies with the game’s turn-based timeline system.
