SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions is an Enhanced Version of the Once Japanese Exclusive JRPG and It’s Available Now in the West

Square Enix has released the enhanced RPG SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and iOS/Android devices in the west.

SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions is the enhanced version of the 2016’s SaGa: Scarlet Grace, which originally only released in Japan. The game has a variety of improvements that have been added to make the game feel a bit more modern. This includes improved graphics, character voiceovers, two new characters who were not in the game’s initial release, and balances.\

The story follows the story of struggle as humanity attempts to fight against an evil known as the Firebringer. After a millennium of battle, the Firebringer is finally defeated, but the Empire falls to rebellion and chaos rises. However, four adventurers set out on a journey, Urpina, Taria, Balmaint and Leonard, each with their own unique storyline that players are able to explore.

The battle system in the game is turn-based. The player will have control over how the party is formed in combat to get the most out of their party’s abilities. During battles, characters will exhaust BP to use techniques and actions. In order to learn new techniques, players will need to consider the weapons that the characters are using in battle. Once they become more proficient they’ll unlock new abilities.
