SaGa Emerald Beyond Soundtrack Announces May 2024 Release

Square Enix has announced that the original soundtrack of their upcoming turn-based JRPG, SaGa Emerald Beyond, will be released in Japan on May 1, 2024, for ¥3,520. Set to be comprised of three discs, the tracklist has not been unveiled yet, but it has been previously stated that the soundtrack will feature over 50 new songs by the legendary composer Kenji Ito. It’s also worth noting that, according to the Square Enix Japan store page, the song selection will be the same as what will be provided in the Japanese collector’s edition.

Pre-order bonuses will alter depending on the Japanese retailer one chooses, with the full selection available via the game’s official website.

Throughout SaGa Emerald Beyond, players can step into the shoes of six distinct protagonists, each possessing a unique and intriguing storyline that sets the stage for an epic adventure. These characters have a remarkable ability to perceive emerald waves, which reveal choices that will shape their destinies in the game’s expansive universe.

Players will select their heroes and adventure through 17 interconnected worlds, with the story’s events up to you. Further, there are more paths than ever before in the series. Combat occurs in timeline turn-based battles, where turn order is crucial. Special techniques alter the order of actions, and team combos will significantly bolster your efforts.

SaGa Emerald Beyond will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, and mobile devices via iOS and Android devices on April 25, 2024.
