EastAsiaSoft announced, in partnership with Rainbite and Sonoshee, that they’ll publish the over-the-top shoot’em up Rym 9000 on PlayStation 4 in Asia and Japan on February 8 and North America and Europe on February 15.
Rym 9000 is an intense shmup previously released on PC-via Steam on January 15, 2018. The game feature 5 levels of various themes as the player fight their way to the Moon in order to find the treasure, a legendary relic left by an ancient civilization, buried in the Moon. However, many pilots have searched for the treasure and died on their way so it’s not an easy mission by any means.
Additionally, EastAsiaSoft plans to release a limited physical edition of the game exclusive to the PlayAsia and limited to 1600 copies. This limited edition will include an art card, 48-page manual, and soundtrack as well as the physical copy of the game for $34.99.
Currently, the Steam version of the game holds a Positive review rating by users who mostly point out the game’s beautiful graphical direction and fast gameplay.
Rym 9000 will be a digital-only release in the west.
